Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a high molecular weight polymer, one of the

 most versatile plastic materials known and useful for a large range of
products for applications excluded to other materials.

The Teflon O-Rings are popular for use in applications which require a chemically

 resistant and non-compressible material. PTFE is the chemically inert of the O-ring

 materials. It is resistant to most chemicals including acids, bases, oils, steam and

 other chemicals. It is also very tough and abrasive resistant. However the material

 is not easily compressed, and therefore may not seal as easily as some of the other

 polymers. Its outstanding tear resistnace and abrasive resistance result in its slippery

 surface properties that make it advantageous for use in seals in moving systems such

 as mass spectrometer probes and valves.

We produces a complete and full line of PTFE rings for multiple sealing applications

 in corrosive and high temperature environments(-400°F to +500°F).

These include piston rings, compressor rings, hydraulic seal rings, o-rings, v-rings,

 ring bearings, back up rings, lantern rings and seals.

PTFE rings can be supplied in Virgin material or with a filler to enhance certain properties.

Regular Filler including: - Glass fiber - Carbon - graphite.

In mechanical applications PTFE with a filler often improves the wear resistance, initial 

deformation and reduces creep and often increases stiffness and thermal conductivity.
